Glenveagh Living announces the acquisition of rights to develop residential communities comprising of c. 750 apartments in Dublin and Galway

We are delighted to announce our acquisition of residential development rights on land adjoining The Square Shopping Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and Gateway Retail Park, Knocknacarra Galway, which are key retail assets under management by Sigma Retail Partners. Subject to receipt of planning permission, the land in Tallaght has the potential to deliver in excess of 500 apartments and the land in Knocknacarra has the potential to deliver in excess of 250 apartments. This acquisition marks the start of our strategic relationship with Sigma Retail Partners, whereby we will work closely together to identity and develop other mixed-use developments in Ireland. “We are delighted to have secured these sites with the potential for over 750 apartments and will immediately begin work to prepare planning applications for these sites. In addition, the broader strategic relationship agreement with Sigma will allow us to work together to identify, acquire and develop further sites in line with our strategic objectives,” Justin Bickle, Glenveagh Properties PLC Co-Founder and CEO.

Glenveagh Living and Clúid sign collaboration agreement to deliver social housing units in Ireland

Glenveagh Living has agreed to collaborate with Clúid Housing to source and develop projects specifically targeting social housing needs in Ireland.  This new agreement builds on the existing relationship between the two companies. Glenveagh Homes (formerly Bridgedale Homes) delivered 67 social and affordable homes for Clúid in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. “Our Glenveagh Living division focusses on joint ventures and partnerships to deliver residential units for State Agencies, local authorities, pension funds and housing associations like Clúid. Our collaboration with Clúid is a demonstration of Glenveagh Living’s commitment to the social housing sector in Ireland, which was a key part of our investor message at IPO. Our relationship with Clúid will support us in planning for a pipeline of housing delivery and encourages the delivery of social housing and mixed-tenure schemes.” Justin Bickle, Co-Founder and CEO.

Glenveagh Living signs collaboration agreement with Urbeo Residential

Glenveagh Living has agreed a collaboration agreement with Urbeo Residential to work closely together to identify and develop projects for the provision of mixed tenure residential units in Dublin and other Irish cities. Our collaboration with Urbeo will enable us to take advantage of a unique set of circumstances which presently exist in the Irish residential market where there is a supply of land, capital available for yielding assets but a shortage of delivery platforms such as Glenveagh Living to fill that gap. Our relationship with Urbeo means we can plan for a pipeline of housing delivery into the future, including mixed tenure housing which is consistent with our IPO messaging to investors” -  Justin Bickle, Glenveagh Properties PLC Co-Founder and CEO.

Glenveagh Properties PLC announces the acquisition of a two hectare site in Dublin’s North Docklands

We are delighted to announce the recent acquisition of a 2 hectare site on East Road, which has the potential to deliver at least 450 residential units. 

This acquisition will give us first mover advantage to deliver a significant number of residential units in Dublin’s North Docks where there is exciting regeneration potential. Glenveagh Properties PLC completes the acquisition of eleven development sites

The successful acquisition of 11 development sites with the potential to support more than 1,300 units has been completed. Nine of the sites were identified as part of a portfolio called ‘Project Kells’. In addition the Company has acquired two sites in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin and will deliver just under 450 residential units.

Glenveagh Properties PLC formally commences trading on the Irish Stock Exchange

We formally commenced trading in Dublin on Friday in what is the second largest initial public offering (IPO) on the Irish Stock Exchange this year. The Company has raised €500 million after listing on the main securities market and now has a market capitalisation of €696 million following conditional trading earlier in the week. Glenveagh Properties PLC is the second housebuilder to list on the ISE this year.
