Job Title: Operations Administrator

Reporting to: Operations Director

Location: Maynooth, Co Kildare

Job Summary:

Glenveagh Properties Plc, a leading Residential Building Company is seeking to recruit an Operations Administrator to join the Operations Team.

The purpose of the role is to support a new software system and processes through to our network of subcontractors and support the Operations Department in an administrative capacity.

The Operations Administrator will form a key part of the project team in ensuring all subcontractors are onboarded onto the new software system and will provide any relevant support.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work with the Operations and Commercial Teams to log details of all site personnel on the system
  • Provide training and support to Site Management Teams as needed
  • Provide training and support to subcontractors and their employees as needed
  • Conduct thorough Site Audits to assess compliance levels and have ability to analyse the findings
  • Act as a key point of contact for Site Management Teams and Subcontractors for system related enquiries
  • Problem solve issues in a positive and time efficient manner
  • Provide direct communication with subcontractors and relevant staff to follow up on incomplete paperwork
  • Become a key liaison between Glenveagh Homes and the System vendor with a deep understanding of the system including technological setup
  • Highlight process improvement opportunities to help develop efficiencies within areas
  • Perform job with a high degree of accuracy
  • Meet deadlines and prioritise duties effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by the Company

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in the construction industry in a similar role
  • Previous experience with database or system admin an advantage
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong IT skills and ability to translate technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within and across teams
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a Construction Site environment
  • Performs best when busy
  • Full clean driver’s licence is essential
