Thursday 28th Feb 2019. Glenveagh Properties PLC, one of the country’s leading new homebuilders, has been recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland in 2019. It is the only Irish homebuilder on this year’s list.
At the 17th annual Great Place to Work awards in Dublin last night the Company was recognised as one of the “Best Medium Workplaces” in Ireland this year.
Diarmuid Leahy, Chief People Officer said it was a fantastic achievement for the firm to be recognised in this way.
“Glenveagh is a relatively young Irish company, so to make the list for the first time, at the first attempt, and to be the only homebuilder on it this year really shows the distance we have travelled in a short period. This is a tremendous endorsement of the approach we have adopted from day one and an amazing achievement by our highly skilled and committed staff, who are central to our ongoing success.”
“Glenveagh is not just about building the finest family homes to the highest design and standards. For us it is also about creating vibrant new communities where families can grow and fulfil their potential in the most suitable locations.”
“Last year we completed the sale of 275 new homes to market and this year we expect to sell around 725 new homes. We would like to thank all our employees for their contribution in making Glenveagh a Great Place to Work” Leahy said.
Great Place to Work Ireland is part of a global network with offices in 48 countries using the same assessment methodology to publish lists at country, regional and global levels. According to GPTW the key defining feature of a great workplace is the level of trust that exists within it.
John Ryan, CEO of Great Place to Work Ireland, congratulated Glenveagh and the other companies who made the list. He said today’s workplace is a partnership with inclusivity and diversity at its core.
