Kildare has the fifth highest population in the state, according to the 

, with 222,504 people accounted for at the time. That’s nearly a 20% increase on the 2006 population.

Both new developments are conveniently located for commuters: the M4 interchange is less than five minutes’ drive away from Ledwill Park, and the time to the city centre is 40 minutes (off-peak), while Dublin Airport is a 30 minute drive. If you’d prefer to sit back and relax on your commute, Kilcock train station is less than a 10 minute walk from the development.

At Barnhall Meadows, the N4/M4 motorway offers easy access to the M50, and you’ll be in Dublin city in 30 minutes. Commuters can avail of regular Dublin Bus routes and multiple daily trains from Louisa Bridge and Confey stations.

For families, there is no shortage of schools and sports clubs in Kildare’s thriving towns.

There are three primary schools in Kilcock, including a Gaelscoil, as well as a secondary school, while Maynooth University is only five kilometres away and is easy to reach by both train and car.

At Barnhall Meadows in Leixlip, there are creches, preschools and primary schools within easy access, as well as three secondary schools.

As for restaurants, cafes and bars, Naas, Newbridge and Maynooth offer an abundance of options for everything from a takeaway coffee to a sit-down dinner on a special occasion, or you can stroll into Leixlip or Kilcock town from either of the new Glenveagh developments.

With a great sense of community, beautiful outdoor spaces and numerous transport links, Kildare offers an idyllic way of live while still being able to join the hustle and bustle of the capital whenever you please.
