Ardgillan Castle Tours

The main house at Ardgillan is adorned with castellated embellishments and although originally called Prospect House, it's commonly now known as Ardgillan Castle. The central section dates back to 1738 with east and west wings added in the 1800s. The large estate changed hands in the 1960s, eventually being purchased by the council in 1981 and it's now run on behalf of Fingal County Council. You can start your day out by taking a guided tour, as you wander through the stately rooms picking up stories from the local expert guides.
