Glenveagh sponsors successful Kilcock GAA hurling nursery.

Senior Infant Skills on Show at Kilcock GAA

Glenveagh were delighted to support Kilcock GAA earlier this summer, with their fun primary schools initiative. With coach Conor Gordan at the helm, the hurling nursery for Senior Infants from local schools, was a wonderful experience for the children and a a great success too.

The children who took part in the hurley nursery learned the basics of hurling and had a lot of fun along the way. The five week programme concluded with a lovely event for all the participating schools, with some skills games thrown in.

Art and Hurling - A Perfect Match

As part of the Kilcock GAA hurling nursery, children were invited to to design and paint their very own hurley. This was a perfect way to involve everyone in the activities, so if your art skills were slightly better than your hurling, not to worry as you got a wonderful memento of the programme with your own designed hurley. Glenveagh are delighted to support the next generation of Kilcock hurlers and designers alike!
