Last April we were delighted to attend Ratoath College for a day of mock interviews with Transition Year students, an initiative designed to prepare young people for future career opportunities. The event provided students with a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills for their future in a supportive and engaging environment.
Throughout the day, students worked on refining their CVs, practising interview techniques, and improving their communication skills. These experiences are crucial in helping students build confidence and gain a better understanding of what to expect in real-world job interviews.
It was particularly encouraging to see such a high level of engagement and enthusiasm from the students. Their willingness to participate, ask questions, and challenge themselves made the day both productive and rewarding for everyone involved.
At Glenveagh, we believe in supporting education beyond the classroom by sharing knowledge and real-world insights. We hope that the experience gave students a meaningful glimpse into the recruitment process and helped them feel more prepared for future opportunities.
