We believe everyone should have access to affordable, high‑quality homes in thriving communities across Ireland. In 2024, we delivered 1,650 new suburban homes and continued to build sustainable neighbourhoods through our Building Lasting Communities programme.

We are committed to innovation, transforming how homes are planned, designed, built, and marketed in Ireland. In 2024, we invested in innovative materials such as lightweight cladding and roofing, helping to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and cut emissions.

Our mission

Our inclusive and collaborative culture encourages fresh thinking, teamwork, and trust. In 2024, we delivered over 8,300 hours of training and development across the business and invested nearly €500,000 in community initiatives that support positive social impact.

Our culture

In 2024, we became the first construction company in Ireland to achieve Gold accreditation from the Irish Centre for Diversity. In 2025, we launched our biodiversity and circular economy strategies and advanced our transition to Net Zero through science‑based targets verified by the SBTi.

John Mulcahy is a chartered surveyor with over 40 years’ experience in the Irish real estate sector. He is currently the chairman of IPUT plc and a member of the board of TIO ICAV. Previously, he was a member of the board (from 2012 to 2014), and Head of Asset Management (from 2011 to 2014), at National Asset Management Agency and, prior to that, was chairman and CEO of JLL’s operations in Ireland from 2002 to 2010. John was also a founding member of the RICS Asset Valuations Standards Committee and the Property Advisory Committee of the National Pension Reserve Fund. John is Chair of the Group's Nomination Committee.

John Mulcahy

Stephen was appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2019. As CEO of Glenveagh, Stephen is responsible for delivering on the Group’s vision to create Ireland’s leading and most sustainable homebuilder. Stephen has over 20 years’ experience in the construction and property industry in Ireland. Prior to founding his own successful residential development business, Bridgedale Homes, Stephen worked with a number of Ireland’s largest property developers. From 2014 to 2017, Stephen advised and managed the acquisition of Irish residential development opportunities on behalf of TIO RLF. A co-founder of Glenveagh who assumed the CEO role in 2019, Stephen had led the growth and development of the Group since IPO.

Stephen Garvey

Conor is Glenveagh’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his appointment as CFO, Conor served as Glenveagh’s Chief Strategy Officer. Conor oversees the Group’s corporate functions including finance, corporate governance, IT, People, strategy & corporate development, and sustainability. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and joined Glenveagh in February 2018 with 10 years’ corporate finance experience having previously worked as associate director in corporate finance for Investec.

Conor Murtagh

Pat McCann has 50 years’ experience in the hotel industry, having begun his career in 1969 with Ryan Hotels plc. He joined Jurys Hotel Group plc in 1989 and became Chief Executive of Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc in 2000. In 2007, Pat founded Dalata Hotel Group plc. He is a non-executive director of a number of private companies and was appointed to the board of Ibec in 2017. Pat completed his term as President of Ibec in September 2020. He is a former non-executive director of EBS Building Society, Greencore Group plc and Whitfield Private Hospital. He has served as National President of the Irish Hotels Federation and as a member of the National Tourism Council.  Pat is the Chair of the Group’s Remuneration Committee.

Pat McCann

Cara Ryan is an experienced non-executive director, with over 20 years’ experience at board level in publicly listed and private companies in both regulated and non-regulated entities. Cara is a non-executive director of Mercer Ireland, where she chairs the Risk Committee, Remuneration Committee and is also a member of the Audit Committee. She is also a non-executive director of BNP Paribas Fund Administration Services in Ireland and is a member of the Audit Committee. Cara has experience in the house building industry and was the Director of Finance of Manor Park Homebuilders. She was formerly a non-executive director of IFG Group plc, a listed financial services Group in Dublin & London and was the Managing Director of IFG Investment Managers until 2006.  Cara is the Chair of the Group’s Audit & Risk Committee.

Cara Ryan

Camilla Hughes is a highly experienced strategic and financial advisor, having spent over twenty-five years in Investment Banking and Capital Markets advising companies on transactions and shareholder engagement. Camilla currently provides independent strategic advice around all aspects of ESG considerations at Rothschild & Co in the Global Advisory business based in London and, prior to expanding her executive career, Camilla served as a Corporate Broker within UK Investment Banking at Credit Suisse. Camilla brings to the Board her significant and diverse experience of financial markets and investor influences with in-depth knowledge and expertise in the real estate, consumer and technology sectors. She holds an MA (Hons) in PPE, Philosophy, Politics and Economics, from Oxford University and a certificate in Sustainable Finance from Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership.  Camilla is the Chair of the Environmental & Social Responsibility Committee.

Camilla Hughes

Emer Finnan is a qualified accountant who has worked both as an investment banker and a group CFO. She is currently President, Europe of Kildare Partners, a private equity firm based in London and Dublin, where she is responsible for investment origination in Europe. After qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG, she worked in investment banking at Citibank and ABN AMRO in London and then NCB Stockbrokers in Dublin. In 2005 she joined EBS Building Society in Ireland, becoming its Finance Director in early 2010. In 2012, Emer re-joined NCB Stockbrokers to lead a financial services team in Ireland. She joined Kildare Partners in 2013.

Lorna Conn

Max is a Partner at Teleios Capital Partners, an investment firm operating from offices in Switzerland and the UK. Max previously served at Charterhouse Capital Partners and The Blackstone Group, where he worked on investments across a variety of sectors, having begun his career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley.
