Glenveagh Properties PLC, an Irish homebuilder, has signed the 'Elevate’ inclusive workplace pledge coordinated by Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI). By signing up to this pledge, Glenveagh, along with 52 other Irish businesses, is demonstrating its commitment to building a truly inclusive workplace, and supporting the broader values of inclusion, equality, and opportunity in Irish society.

Upon signing the Elevate pledge, Glenveagh is committing to the following:

  • Recording the diversity profile of the overall workforce
  • Participating in an annual BITCI report which will publish the diversity profile of the collective workforce
  • Annually developing one tangible action that ensures the recruitment or retention of diverse talent
  • Annually reporting on the impact of this action
  • Increasing ambition on the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda
  • Collaborating with fellow signatories to learn and create solutions for social impact

Speaking about signing the pledge, Glenveagh Chief Executive Stephen Garvey said:

As well as signing this pledge, Glenveagh has now also become a member of Business in the Community Ireland, a movement for sustainable change in business and Ireland’s only membership network dedicated to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
