Bennetstown

Upcoming Public Works
In addition to the new homes, a section of the R157 road will be developed, together with the connection of services on the Old Navan Road near Bennetstown. These works are scheduled to commence on Monday, 7 September, and are expected to continue for approximately eight weeks during daytime working hours. While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, the works may result in minor interruptions to entry to and exit from the train station.
R157/M3 Parkway Roundabout Junction:
The existing roundabout at the R157/M3 Parkway junction will be replaced with a new signalised junction. Further enhancements to cycling and pedestrian infrastructure will be provided as result of the works.
For the duration of the works there will be no pedestrian access. Additionally, there will be lane closures, but two-way traffic will be maintained at all times.
Old Navan Road:
There will be a reduction in traffic levels on the Old Navan Road due to the upcoming civils works.
All of the above works have been agreed with Meath County Council.
