At Glenveagh, we are proud to support over 1,000 initiatives and clubs across Ireland. One of them is Portlaoise Athletics Club, for which we were delighted to provide singlets, a trolley for starting blocks, as well as a new timing system. This is in line with our promise to support sports and fitness at the community level, encouraging activity and love for the outdoors among all age groups.
Portlaoise Athletics Club has a strong presence in the area and is continuing to grow, boasting well over 100 members. The Club provides juvenile training from the age of 8 to 18, along with more senior training.
Offering strength and conditioning sessions as well as professionally coached track sessions, Portlaoise AC provides a positive and thriving environment for all members, whether beginners or experienced.
