How we invest in sports & fitness

We support sports from grassroots up to the national championships levels, sponsoring local clubs in areas where we build. Glenveagh regularly supports fundraisers for smaller clubs and underage sports teams but also county-wide and national initiatives.

We’re preparing the groundwork for tomorrow’s stars through our support for Academy programmes, like sponsorship of St. Ita’s AFC youths in Donabate and Maynooth GAA Boys & Girls teams.

We’re committed to encouraging activity and love for the outdoors in our communities. That’s why we do our best to integrate cycling paths and walkways in our developments. And we love any opportunity to rally behind your team. That's why, for example, we’ve been co-sponsoring the LSA Peninsula 4 mile run. 

Inclusivity is a core part of the Glenveagh philosophy. We’re always trying to improve equal access to opportunities throughout our communities. As sponsors of several girls’ teams, we’re helping to give local pride a national profile. These are just two examples of our support for women and youth participation in sports and fitness, especially in disadvantaged areas as we continue to roll out our partnerships activity.

Our continued support for the Gaelic4Girls programme is helping to bring Gaelic games to a wider community. Working with national partners, we’re establishing a stronger foundation for young girls to participate, and building deeper ties with the local community. That creates a fun and nurturing environment for girls to develop their athletic skills, on a par with the safe, social environments we’re building through our homes.
