Glenveagh and Jack and Jill staff raise over €20,000 for the charity!
Jack and Jill and Glenveagh Join in Fundraising Challenge
This week we're taking a look back at some of our initiatives over the summer and where better to start than the annual Glenveagh Jack and Jill Children's Foundation shop take over volunteering day, which took place in June. Over 30 volunteers from Glenveagh competed to raise funds for the charity foundation, across shops in Newbridge, Portlaoise and Artane. The Glenveagh teams took over the three shops, working with the wonderful Jack and Jill staff, in an effort to raise as much as possible by the end of the day.
Together we raised an incredible €20,590.35 over the equating to 1,143 hours of nursing care for Jack and Jill families, which made it our most successful Jack & Jill shop fundraiser to date. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the day and made it a very special fundraiser for such a worthy cause.
