Balmoston will be one of the largest housing communities in the state. When completed it will provide nearly 1,200 homes. Construction is now well underway on the project.
40% of the Balmoston homes will be available for much needed affordable and social housing. Facilities such as sport and recreation will also be linked to the area, providing access to amenities for the wider Ballymastone and Donabate communities.
Construction on the first phase of Balmoston has begun and will deliver 432 of the 1,200 homes. The A-rated homes, built by Glenveagh promise to provide comfort and energy efficiency for its residents.
It is anticipated that the first homes in Balmoston will be completed in late 2024.
