The last Saturday in April saw over 300 people attend Glenveagh’s Balmoston First-Time Buyers Event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry. Opened by Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Adrian Henchy, the event included a panel discussion chaired by architect and TV presenter, Dermot Bannon. AnnMarie Farrelly, Chair of Fingal County Council and Helen Quigley of the First Home Scheme were among the panel of experts who gave the audience an insight into Balmoston and all it has to offer.

Attendees at the Balmoston event were able to meet with finance and housing experts and estate agents at the event. By visiting stands and finding out about Affordable Housing, the Help to Buy Scheme and the First Home Scheme, attendees got a great overall picture of how to get buyer ready.
Glenveagh's first-time buyer event welcomed potential home buyers, eager to find out more about the homes on offer. The event was family focussed, with food, refreshments and entertainment for children laid on, from face painting to games and treats. Glenveagh’s Community Engagement Team were also on hand to tell people about Glenveagh community initiatives, from sponsoring local sports to supporting Donabate Tidy Towns.
Glenveagh's Balmoston First-Time Buyers Event had a focus on community and sustainability and the success of the event is testament to the great place to live that Donabate is.
