The countdown to Christmas kicked off for the residents of Barnhall Meadows in Leixlip when the Glenveagh Christmas Pop-up Village arrived with food stalls, children's entertainment, local craft stalls and Christmas treats, a mini disco and even a visit by Santa himself!
The Christmas event hub was located in the main green at Barnhall and over 200 residents both big and small joined in the festivities.
The main activity on the day included local business stallholders and food stalls promoting Christmas products plus Christmas entertainment with a kid's disco, balloon modelling and photos with Santa.
Stallholders included the local Croí Laoighean credit union, Leixlip GAA, Forever Living and Celbridge Camera Club.
As it was a free event, activities throughout the day included a raffle fundraiser for our Charity partners, the Jack & Jill Foundation and ALONE.
