Papa’s Pumpkin Patch

Whether you’re looking to showcase your impressive pumpkin carving skills, or simply want to try out a pumpkin pie recipe to beat the band - we’ve got a fun-filled day planned for the whole family with a visit to Papa’s Pumpkin Patch where you can pick your favourite pumpkin and avail of wholesome autumn activities while you’re at it.

Located in Oldtown, just fifteen minutes from Hollystown and starting from Saturday 19th October, preparations are well underway and tickets are sure to go fast.

Anniversary Celebrations

If you’re a lover of GAA and want to get involved in a well-established community, Tyrrelstown GAA is playing host to its 15th Birthday Celebrations this month. They’re inviting people to join them for a great night of food, dancing and craic for all members and friends on the 19th of October at the Carlton Hotel in Tyrrelstown. Located a four-minute drive or a fifteen minuten walk from Hollystown, this is one event not to be missed for sports fans.

As we’ve mentioned before, Hollystown is surrounded by parks in every direction, including Dublin’s finest sports for relaxing. With Phoenix Park just to the south, you’re open to a whole world of activities and ways to spend your weekend. With the leaves turning golden and autumn firmly upon us, it’s the perfect time to wrap up and get outside for a crisp stroll before the winter months set in. Don’t forget that St Catherine’s Park offers the opportunity to join in with sports, complete several scenic walking loops and even go canoeing.
