We recently visited Maynooth Post Primary School, where we had the opportunity to speak with 5th and 6th year students about the wide range of careers available in the construction industry. Construction offers many different pathways — from design, engineering, and apprenticeships to on-site roles, finance, IT, and sales.
During our visit, we explored what each of these roles involves and the skills needed for them. A huge thank-you to the staff and students at Maynooth Post Primary for the warm welcome and the brilliant questions throughout the session!
We believe that supporting education is one of the best ways to invest in our communities. That’s why we work closely with local schools and organisations to help young people reach their full potential.
We’re always looking out for the next generation of talent. Along with offering work experience and mentoring through our school outreach programme, we are expanding our apprenticeships and placements for both secondary and third-level students.
We’re committed to creating opportunities for young people — and we hope some of the students at Maynooth Post Primary will be part of the future of construction. For more information on the school, you can find their website here.
