Wrapping up Lough Lene Gaels coaches...
We all know the tireless work that players put in, season in and season out, rain, hail or snow, but it takes a bigger team to get the players on the pitch. Glenveagh decided to show some support for the huge dedication that coaches and trainers put in week in and week out, all year long. Where would any good GAA team be without the bainisteoirí? With this in mind, Glenveagh Graduate Quantity Surveyor Jemma Williams was on hand to present the coaches at Lough Lene Gaels with some much needed kit to keep them warm, no matter what the weather. Here's to them seeing lots of goals from the sideline, in their new kit!
Lough Lene Gaels was originally founded in 1969, when local clubs came together, drawing in players from Collinstown, Fore, Glenidan and Rickardstown to create a new force in Westmeath hurling. Camogie and hurling at the Gaels now has a huge range of teams, from under 6s to flourishing senior teams.
