Solstice Arts Centre in Navan is known for its wonderful plays, installations and exhibtions, but did you know that you can also view some great cinema there? On Wednesday 22nd January, there will be a screening of 

, starring Oscar winner Cillian Murphy as Bill Furlong a "hard-working coal merchant, doing his best to support his family amid the challenging conditions of 1980s Ireland" as he encounters a traumatised resident of the local convent. Adapted from Clare Keegan's book of the same name, 

is a moving film with a stellar cast including Emily Watson.

Tickets are only €7.50 and can be bought on the 

If you're interested in cinema and like seeing films from around the world, then a season bundle or pass from Solstice might be the thing for you. Book four or more films and get your tickets for only €6. If you book 8 or more from january to April, you'll find yourself paying €5 for each screening.
