Glenveagh staff swung into the weekend on Friday 5th July, by joining members of the dedicated Jack and Jill Children's Foundation team, as they hit Emerald Park for a Teddy Bear Picnic. Glenveagh is proud to partner with Jack and Jill, so we didn't miss the chance to help raise some vital funds for the foundation, at the Meath theme park and zoo.
All park goers were invited to bring along their favourite teddies on the day, for a day filled with picnic packs, colouring competitions and a host of fun activities for teddy bears and humans alike. The fundraising day helped support Jack and Jill services and will make a difference to the work they do.
Glenveagh staff were delighted to join in the fun and fundraising on the day the teddy bears had their picnic.
Jack and Jill is a nationwide charity providing in-home nursing care and respite support for children up to the age of six, who have severe to profound cognitive delay. To date the charity has helped over 3,000 children throughout Ireland.
