Glenveagh Properties PLC ("Glenveagh" or the "Company") a leading Irish homebuilder, is pleased to announce the appointment of Camilla Hughes as an independent non-executive Director with effect from 1 July 2021.
As outlined in the Annual Report, the Board of Glenveagh, led by the Nomination Committee and assisted by external consultant Korn Ferry, commenced a process to identify a replacement independent non-executive director following the very sad passing of Lady Barbara Judge in 2020.
Camilla Hughes is an experienced financial and strategic advisor, having spent over twenty years in investment banking, capital markets and corporate advisory. Prior to expanding her executive career, Camilla most recently served as a Corporate Broker within UK Investment Banking at Credit Suisse. Camilla brings to the Board her significant experience of financial markets, shareholder engagement and corporate governance and broad knowledge of the real estate, consumer and technology sectors. Camilla does not hold, and has not in the past five years held, a directorship in any other publicly quoted company.
John Mulcahy, chairman of Glenveagh, commented:
"I am delighted to welcome Camilla to Glenveagh. Her expertise will be an excellent addition to the Board, and I look forward to working with her."
