Supporting Young Athletes at Balbriggan RFC Easter Camp

Glenveagh was delighted to support the Balbriggan Rugby Club’s Easter Camp once again this year. Running from March, 30th until April, 2nd, the camp brought together a large group of young players aged 6 to 12, providing them with an opportunity to explore rugby, learn new skills, and enjoy a fun, inclusive environment.

Introducing Young Players to Rugby

The Easter Camp was designed to welcome children who were trying rugby for the first time, while also giving existing players a chance to improve their skills. Through games, drills, and activities, participants were encouraged to develop their confidence, coordination, and understanding of the sport in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

A Fun and Positive Atmosphere

Throughout the week, the camp fostered a fantastic atmosphere. Coaches and kids alike were clearly enjoying the experience, with laughter, energy, and teamwork evident across all sessions. This positive environment ensured that every child could participate and grow at their own pace.

Supporting Youth Sport and Community Fitness

Sponsoring initiatives like the Balbriggan Rugby Club Easter Camp is part of Glenveagh’s commitment to promoting sports and fitness in local communities. Encouraging young people to stay active not only supports their physical health but also helps them develop teamwork, discipline, and confidence that can last a lifetime.

We look forward to seeing these young players grow, both on and off the pitch, and to supporting more initiatives that make a positive impact on the community.
