Community-Balbriggan
Glenveagh was delighted to take part in the careers evening at Ardgillan Community College and meet senior cycle students and their parents. It was a great chance to talk to students from the local area about careers in construction and homebuilding and it was beneficial to be able to speak with families as well as the students themselves. Everyone showed great enthusiasm and interest and asked brilliant questions.
Our team talked through the different pathways into construction, including the newly launched Foundations Programme, a partnership between Glenveagh and specialist contractors to provide a programme that goes beyond a standard apprenticeship. We hope the conversations gave students and parents a clearer picture of the options open to them after school.
We would like to thank the organisers and school staff for inviting us, and a huge well done to all the students we met on the day.
