Site Updates September 2026
Belcamp
Construction works in Belcamp are currently underway and are progressing on schedule. The new community, comprising a total of 78 units, will bring much needed A-rated homes to the area. The first homeowners collected their keys in December 2025, with the remaining homes expected to be completed in the coming months.
Resurfacing Works
As part of the Taking in Charge process, remedial resurfacing works are underway on River Walk.
The shared footpath is scheduled to be broken out and relaid on Wednesday, 23rd September. Road resurfacing is scheduled for Thursday, 24th September.
Resurfacing works on College Avenue are now complete.
Playground Update
Washington Green
Footpath repair works within the playground are scheduled for Friday, 25th September. Once these works are complete, the fencing will be removed and the playground opened.
College Avenue
The playground works are complete, with delivery and installation of the railings outstanding. The playground will open once the railings have been installed.
Washington Drive
Installation of the play equipment is scheduled to recommence on Friday, 25th September. A further update on the anticipated opening date will follow as works progress.
