Rath Rua, a new Glenveagh community in Portlaoise comprising two and three bedroom homes, will bring much needed new A-rated housing to the area.

All homeowners have now collected their keys. Work is continuing on the crèche.

At Glenveagh, we add lasting value to our communities by investing in the lives of our residents and the environment that surrounds them. Here are some of the ways we support the Portlaoise community. 

We offer ongoing support to local Tidy Towns by providing volunteers with the necessary supplies and equipment. 



Sustainability

We partner with local schools by upgrading outdoor and landscaping areas and organise regular Construction Site Safety Talks and free Nature Hero Bootcamps in local primary schools.


Education

We support the local economy by procuring local where we can, as well as organise regular residents Community Days featuring small business owners from the area.
