Site Updates August 2026

The Furrows

Our upcoming community at The Furrows will provide 128 A-rated new homes, ranging from 1 to 4 bedroom homes, apartments and duplexes. To register your interest or to find out more information on The Furrows, please see here.

Alongside the new homes, we will be building a section of the new link road. The existing roundabout on Main Street will be replaced with a new signalised junction. Further enhancements to cycling and pedestrian infrastructure will be provided as part of the works.

Ballybin Road closure:

Following formal approval from Meath County Council, the Ballybin Road will be closed 24/7 until 31st August 2026. Our contractors are currently carrying out essential road and drainage works, including the installation of new surface water drainage and foul drainage. Local access will be maintained for nearby residents. The road will reopen at the end of August. Further junction upgrade works are scheduled thereafter but will not require any road closures.

Bus stop:

The new bus stop is now operational for bus services. The bus shelter has been ordered and will be installed in the coming months.

Out of Hours works:

Construction works of the junction will take place during the day. Any reconfiguration of traffic management plans will take place at night as requested with Meath County Council's approval to minimise impact to traffic.

These works are scheduled at night specifically to minimise disruption to traffic and the local community during the day. Two-way traffic flow will be maintained during the daytime hours of the junction upgrade works.

Please check back for updates as works progress. We appreciate the community's patience as we work to complete these works as efficiently and safely as possible.
