Community-ratoath
Glenveagh's Community Engagement team recently visited Ratoath Junior National School to deliver an engaging and informative talk on site safety. The initiative is part of Glenveagh’s wider community outreach programme, aimed at educating young people about the importance of safety, particularly around active building sites.
The second class students were incredibly enthusiastic and engaged throughout the visit. They were introduced to Sam and Sue, our storybook character safety champions who help bring the message to life, asking fantastic questions about how construction sites work and why safety rules are so important.
To reinforce what they learnt, each student received a high‑visibility vest, pencil, and keychain to take home as reminders to stay alert and aware when walking or cycling near construction activity in their local area.
It is always a pleasure for our team to visit schools, meet the students, and share this important message. Glenveagh is proud to support local schools and help young people understand the importance of staying safe around construction.
