The Glenveagh team was delighted to visit Holy Family National School to deliver an engaging construction site safety talk for students. The visit aimed to raise awareness of the importance of staying safe around construction sites and to help pupils recognise potential hazards in their local area.
Through interactive storytelling and discussion, students learned valuable safety lessons in a fun and memorable way.
The pupils were enthusiastic and engaged throughout the session, asking thoughtful questions and actively participating as the Glenveagh team shared practical advice on construction site safety.
By introducing these important topics at an early age, we hope to help children better understand the importance of following safety signage, keeping a safe distance from construction activity and always staying alert around building sites.
To reinforce the key messages, every pupil received a hi-vis vest along with a selection of safety goodies to take home, encouraging them to continue the conversation with their families.
At Glenveagh, creating safe communities extends beyond the homes we build. We are committed to supporting local schools through educational initiatives that help children stay informed and safe in their everyday environments.
