World of Musicals - Matinées

The World of Musicals in Concert is running from the 30th of July to the 4th of August in The Lark theatre in Balbriggan. The show, which has been a sell out in Australia and New Zealand, features songs from some favourite musicals. Settle in for hits from The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Chicago, South Pacific and lots more, finishing with a medley of classics. As well as the evening shows at 8pm, there are also a series of matinées, perfect for the bank holiday weekend. This includes a sensory show on August 2nd, with reduced volume and lighting.

High Kings - August 9th

Playing together for over 15 years, The High Kings have established themselves as one of Ireland's most celebrated folk bands, playing to audiences that have included US Presidents and in venues as diverse as The Pentagon and London's Trafalgar Square. The band have a loyal following and for good reason; they combine great musicianship with powerful vocal performances and their shows are not to be missed.

The High Kings play The Lark for one show on the 9th of August.

Paul Brady - 10th August

Renowned singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Paul Brady, plays at The Lark on Saturday 10th of August. He brings with him well known songs from his catalogue of over 40 years. Songs like The Island, Nobody Knows and Paradise are mainstays in the Irish songbook and Brady will bring some of those songs to Balbriggan for the concert. Paul Brady songs have been covered by a host of international artists and feature in many of their own albums and no doubt will continue to be into the future.

A mix of folk, rock, blue, trad and pop makes Paul Brady a versatile artist who stands the test of time, writing classic songs along the way.
