An Insight into Engineering

As part of its Engineers Week for its STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Maths) classes, Coláiste Chiaráin welcomed Glenveagh civil engineer Varun, in to speak with the students. Varun gave the 5th and 6th Year Engineering and Construction Studies classes an insight into civil engineering, from training and qualifications to a day in the life with Glenveagh. Students asked some really good questions and it was great to meet so many young people considering a career in Engineering. Wishing all the students the very best of luck in the Senior Cycle and beyond.
