We are pleased to announce that Glenveagh has commenced construction work at Balmoston, one of the largest residential housing developments in Ireland.
In total 1,200 A-Rated homes will be delivered, 40% of which will be made available for social and affordable housing.
The first phase of construction will consist of 432 homes and is expected to be completed by late 2024.
The upcoming development will include extensive community, sports and recreational facilities that will benefit the local community. The Recreational Hub, which has been fully approved by Fingal County Council, is a €10.4 million investment in state-of-the-art sporting and community facilities such as GAA pitches, soccer pitches, athletics facilities and playgrounds.
A portion of the overall site will also be made available as a public space and will be open to the wider Ballymastone and Donabate communities.
As one of the nation's leading homebuilders, Glenveagh is focused on delivering high-quality homes across flourishing communities in Ireland. We achieve quality and accessibility by consistently innovating planning, design and build.
In line with our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we recognise the importance of supporting local communities like Donabate.
Our community and sponsorship funds have been providing invaluable support to various local initiatives such as grassroots sponsorship of St Ita’s AFC Academy, Portrane Hockey and St. Patrick’s GAA, as well local school support and other causes close to the heart of the Donabate communities.
Glenveagh is planning to organize a Community Information Day over the coming months with more information on sales launch dates and the various schemes available to First-Time Buyers.
