The Glenveagh Health & Safety team recently delivered a series of interactive talks in three local national schools near Moygaddy — St. Joseph's N.S. in Mulhussey, Rathregan N.S. and Kilcloon N.S., as part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement and education.
The initiative aimed to introduce pupils to key health and safety principles in an accessible and age-appropriate way, helping to raise awareness both in school and beyond the classroom.
The talks were designed to be interactive and engaging, encouraging pupils to think about everyday safety in their local communities. Topics included general awareness around hazards, personal safety and the importance of looking out for one another.
By delivering the sessions directly in schools, Glenveagh provided pupils with practical information in a familiar environment, helping to reinforce positive safety behaviours from an early age.

Health and safety is one of our key principles at Glenveagh, not only on construction sites but also within the communities where we operate. Delivering health & safety talks in local schools reflects our broader commitment to sharing knowledge, promoting awareness and supporting long-term community wellbeing.
As the Moygaddy area continues to grow, initiatives such as this help strengthen connections between local schools, families and the wider community. We look forward to continuing to engage with local schools and community groups on initiatives that have a positive and lasting impact.
