Books and kids are the perfect match and fostering a love of reading in children will set them up for life-long enjoyment of books. A lovely way to get kids to read and make new friends along the way are library book clubs and Trim Library has clubs for kids of different ages. They'll even make provide the books. As Meath Libraries say: "Our book clubs are free to join, and all the books we read are provided by the library, making it an accessible and exciting way for young readers to explore new stories and make friends at the same time!"
Each month book club members meet to discuss the books, chat about them and engage in book activities like quizzes. Library staff will be on hand to run the events and give the children the opportunity to share their thoughts.
