Glenveagh delighted to support Trim Tennis club with our Hometown Heroes fund.
Supporting local clubs and initiatives is something we enjoy doing, so when Brendan Keogh from our Commercial team nominated Trim Tennis Club for our Hometown Heroes Fund, it definitely fit the bill. Glenveagh is delighted to support Trim Tennis Club by assisting them with the physical enhancement of of the club.
Trim Tennis Club was established in 1948 and has been a vital part of the community since then, giving an opportunity for players of all levels and ages, to participate in the sport of tennis. The clubs has four women's and four men's teams who play in tournaments throughout the season. Coaching is also available for all levels and ages.
The tennis club in Trim now has modernised facilities and flood lighting which enables tennis to be played all year round.
The Hometown Heroes Fund enables Glenveagh staff to nominate a local club or association for assistance in achieving their goals. The awards can take different forms and have typically supported grassroots clubs, local initiatives via direct funding or sponsorship opportunities; a great way for Glenveagh staff to be become involved in supporting communities.
