    Homebuilding Horizons Report 2026

Every home built is the product of hundreds of decisions across zoning, planning, funding, infrastructure, construction and regulation. When any one part of that system gets held up, delivery slows with it. But there is so much opportunity waiting to be unlocked. This new report explores the key challenges facing Irish homebuilding today and sets out practical and collaborative solutions to help the system work more effectively and boost Ireland’s homebuilding efforts. It presents an overall assessment and recommendations on the homebuilding sector and combines original research, Glenveagh’s own data, and on-the-ground operational insight. In the report, we set out 40 practical recommendations that will support existing policy and the various stages of the homebuilding process.
