Glenveagh Supporting The Downs Community Garden

Supporting local groups and initiatives is something we enjoy doing, so when Sharon Redmond from our Project Managment team nominated The Downs Community Garden for our Hometown Heroes Fund, we jumped at the chance.

Glenveagh is delighted to support Downs Community Garden by helping to fund enhancements to the play area.

About The Downs Community Garden

The Downs Community Garden is a lovely landmark in the local community. The play and fitness area creates spaces for children and adults alike, to enjoy. From swinging to rocking, climbing to balancing children have many play opportunities and adults benefit from exercising outdoors. Here's to many more years of fun in this Westmeath spot!

Glenveagh Hometown Heroes Fund

The Hometown Heroes Fund enables Glenveagh staff to nominate a local club or association for assistance in achieving their goals. The awards can take different forms and have typically supported grassroots clubs, local initiatives via direct funding or sponsorship opportunities; a great way for Glenveagh staff to be become involved in supporting communities.
